Liquid coloring concentrate obtained from selected black carrot (Daucus Carota L) roots.
It is considered a coloring foodstuff and it does not carry an "E" number, being extracted exclusively by mechanical means.
It features a high coloring strength, very good stability against light, heat and low pH.
Color shade is dependent on the pH value of the final product, varying from bright red at pH values under 3.5 and becoming bluish red at pH values above 3.5. May become unstable at pH values above 6, therefore it's usage is not recommended in products with high pH.
