The Chocolate coated popping candy is great for decoration, and giving an exciting textural and mouthfeel burst on a product.
We tried it on cinnamon whirls, and chocolate palmiers, but you could use it on ice cream, chocolates, or cupcakes.
The chocolate coating gives it some protection so the crackle and pop is still there.
Ingredients:
Milk chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk power, cocoa mass, soya lecitin, Natural Vanilla Flavouring), Popping candy (sugar, glucose syrup, lactose [from milk], carbon dioxide), glazing agents: gum acacia, starch, shellac.
